The South Korean men’s national team has climbed two places to 26th in the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) rankings from July .According to the FIFA rankings released on 21 July, Korea is ranked 26th, up two places from 28th in July. South Korea, coached by Jürgen Klinsmann (GER), won one and drew one in friendlies against Wales and Saudi Arabia earlier this month. They drew goalless with Wales and won 1-0 against Saudi Arabia. It was Klinsmann’s first win since taking charge in May this year (1 win, 3 draws, 2 losses).Places one to five remain unchanged with Argentina, France, Brazil, England and Belgium .Japan, which defeated European teams such as Germany and Turkiye during the A-Match in September, moved up one place from 20th to 19th. Japan is followed by Iran 안전놀이터 (21st), South Korea, Australia (27th) and Saudi Arabia (57th) in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) rankings.
