Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, and Jindo Seo Jeong-hwan Baseball Town (CEO Seo Jeong-hwan) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to create a baseball field for professional and amateur baseball teams to hold winter and summer training sessions and national tournaments on the second floor of the Jindo County Office on the 2nd.
Through this business agreement, Jindo-gun and Jindo Seo Jeong-hwan Baseball Town will closely cooperate and mutually cooperate to develop together, such as holding field training and various baseball tournaments.
Jindo Seo Jeong-hwan Baseball Town will invest KRW 41 billion to build four international standard baseball fields in a part of Jindo Arirang Tourist Complex (117,033㎡) located in Sangman-ri, Imhoe-myeon, Jindo-gun, to revitalize the sport of baseball.
In particular, natural and artificial turf fields (two each), hotels (150 rooms), town villages (60 buildings), indoor practice fields, saunas, and glamping grounds are being prepared with the goal of completing the project in May 2026.
