South Korea national soccer team’s next-generation runner, Bae Jun-ho (21, Stoke City), scored his fourth offensive point of the season.

Bae started the Potters’ 2024-2025 English Football League (EFL) Championship (Division Two) Round 13 away match against Derby County at the Bet365 Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent, England, on Feb. 2 and scored in the Potters’ 2-1 victory.

Deployed in an attacking line alongside Thomas Cannon and Million Manhoof, Bae assisted on the game-winning goal off a corner kick in the 37th minute with the score tied 1-1. Bae stepped up as the kicker and delivered a quick and accurate cross for Ben Gibson to turn and head home the game-winner.

It was Bae’s fourth assist in 12 games this season.

It comes a month after he recorded a multi-assist performance in a Round 8 home win over Portsmouth last month.

Bae also had a crucial header off a Stevens cross in the 21st minute of the second half when the score was 1-1. However, he was denied by the opposing goalkeeper. Bae played 88 minutes before being subbed off.

With the win, 토토사이트 Stoke snapped a four-match winless run (three draws, one loss). It was their first win in five games since the Portsmouth game. They also bounced back from a 2-3 Carabao Cup (EFL Cup) round of 16 loss to Southampton.

After scoring two goals and providing six assists in 40 appearances last season, including two goals and five assists in 38 league games, Bae earned his first call-up to the South Korean national team under interim coach Kim Do-hoon in May. Bae has also made his presence felt in the South Korean national team, recording back-to-back assists against Jordan and Iraq in October.
